Mark Willett EITMechanical Designer
Mark is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. His versatility has allowed him to work on both the design and commissioning sides of our mechanical department.
Given his considerable technical skills, he often participates in projects with the most difficult analysis requirements. For example, Mark provided calculations to establish the expected performance of the University of Oregon cogeneration plant using a computer model custom made for the project. The plant includes a 7.5 MW combustion gas turbine generator, a heat recovery steam generator, a steam turbine generator, and two steam boilers, and it is part of a $100 million dollar upgrade to the campus central plant. Meticulous and organized, Mark is a great addition to any project team.
Outside of work, Mark is a professional-level photographer. He also runs for fitness, a prerequisite to keeping up with a family including four children, several of which compete throughout the state in gymnastics.
