Brian’s commitment and dedication to developing his craft have always guided his path. Early in his career, he discovered a passion for optimizing building systems. He was driven by the profound impact he could have by creating efficient building systems, reducing maintenance costs, and improving occupant comfort. Brian’s firsthand experience and collaborative leadership style have rooted him in the industry as a dependable commissioning partner. Brian is a licensed professional mechanical engineer, certified commissioning provider, and leads our Bend, Oregon branch office.
Brian also uses his industry knowledge as a vessel for impact outside of project work. He serves as a member of the exam committee for the Building Commissioning Certification Board, participates on the Bend-La Pine School District sustainability committee, and shares his passion with future engineering students at his alma mater, Oregon State University-Cascades. His determination to continuously raise the bar in the commissioning industry was recently recognized by the Building Commissioning Association, where Brian was named one of BCxA’s 20 under for 40 for 2021.
Brian calls Central Oregon home and can be found in his free time hitting the links with clients, casting a line with his dad, or tending the garden with his wife.
