Dustin loves to learn and chalks it up to why he became an engineer. His technical savvy is part of his identity and his work. He started his engineering journey with the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard where he spent a decade developing test plans and carrying out tests on mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems. Eager to expand his breadth of knowledge, Dustin started a new path: commissioning.
Passionate about energy efficiency, Dustin believes that a properly commissioned building, working as designed, is an important tool to minimize our environmental impact, and a key to building trust and exceeding expectations in client relationships.
Like many of us, Dustin enjoys exploring the great outdoors. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest but is still finding new wild places to explore. Alongside his trusty adventure companions—his wife and their two dogs—he spends almost every weekend outside hiking, camping, or boating.
